Final Fantasy VI Review Hey readers it's Mike here. Today I'm intrested in speaking about a game I love. And that game is, drimroll please, Final Fantasy III, which is 3. Yes its true. I like RPG games. I petended I didnt for Jimmys sake. But it's ture. There's nothing more fun that getting sucked in by a big elaporate story and finding out where it's going next. I sat down Jimmy and told him, "Jimmy I can't keep hidding who I am and I have to tell you the truth." And he said "I know Mike. It's ok." And I said "you know I like RPG games?" and he said "oh I thought you were gonna say something else" and I still don't damn know what he was talking anout. But we move on. So the history of Final Fantasy III is that yes. Before you say anuthing, yes. The propert title is Final Fantasy VII. That is 6. But they coulden't release Final Fantasy 1 2 and 3 in the US because of internatianal copyright law. They had to skip them and call Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VIII because they skipped Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IIII and Final Fantasy V which was renamed to, you guess it, Chrono Trigger. And then there's Secret of Mama which is actually a game called The Final Fantasy The Adventure. And then there's Final Fantasy Mystical Quest which I think is Final Fantasy 2. And that brinks us to Final Fantasy 3. Which is Final Fantasy 6. Not to be confusued with Final Fantasy 2 which is Final Fantasy V. Ay Kurrumpa! So in FFIIIAKAFF3AKAFF6 you start out as this girl named. Get this. Whatever you want. Jimmy made me call her Fireband so sure why not. Fireband and this guy named Vicky and this guy named Wedgey are driving Megaman X mech robot suites and are blasting lazers on everyone. Total destuction. So cool. But Fireband goes into the cave and finds a frozen monster in the ice. And it BLOWS HER AWAY. Then when she wakes up she meets the theaf who's name is. Well. Jimmy made me also call him Fireband. So Fireband and Fireband (which he should of been called DK but I digest) have to escape the town because. So get this. Fireband was brainwatched by the evil empire. BUT SHE BROKE FREE. And so they have to escape the town. And go to a castle. Then at the castle they meet my personal favorite charchactor. His name is. Sigh. Yes. His name is Fireband. KING Fireband. King of the castel. And the evil empirer led by KLEFKA sets his castle on fireband. I mean on fire. Sorry. Everyone is named Fireband. Sorry. It's damn confusing. AND THEN THE CASTLE GOES UNDER GROUND. BECAUSE IT IS SECRETLY. AN UNDER GROUND CATTLE. And well... this is as far as I've gotten. But I'm so exited to play more. I used to watch my older brother play awesome RPG games like this one all the times. I think I saw him play some of this exect one many years ago when I was a kid, or maybe it was Final Fantasy V or Final Fantasy 5 or Final Fantasy 2 or Final Fantasy 6, which is Final Fantasy IV. It's really awesome because he also MADE RPG games. And so did my dad. I could only play games made by my own family and never get board. How cool is that?? Well guys. You should really cheek out this game. If you dont play a lot of RPG games or any at all I still think you could try it. Even Jimmy said it looked cool after I pressed him on it for 25 minutes and even then he was mostly talking about the garphics because "the enemeys look like Demons Crest somewhat" but I take what I can give. Jimmy can be a hard net to crack and he's really set in his days. I understaund not liking a game where you press attack in the menu instead of just walking up and slashing your sword to the enemy direcetly. You feel a little de-attached to the action. I unserstand. But it's about the story and the exploring. And finding cool setups layouts for your party members. With all the cool relics. and I think magic spells later in the game towards the end. Maybe I'll get Jimmy to appretiate games like this some day. Maybe some day! Thanks for reading. -Mike |
